Did you go through a little post-holiday slump? Maybe you still are? I sure did…and have yet to figure out my semester routine. January has been a whirlwind so far, with family visits, work events, lots of internship hours, and oh yeah, my semester started a week earlier than I had thought. (Don’t ask! It was quite a surprise.) Because of all of this, I can’t wait for this weekend, our first “normal” weekend since before the holidays. It’s great to slowly reconnect with all the simple things that get lost in holiday/new year shuffle–to cherish the everyday.
This week’s column over at Family Resources of Greater Nebraska explores some ways to relish those everyday things we tend to forget over the holidays, those things that really do make life great.
How do you celebrate the everyday? I’d love to hear it!
